Bishop John Kaberere

For more than four decades, Bishop John Kaberere has given his life to raising disciples of integrity — preaching the Word, mentoring leaders, and shepherding a church family he planted from a small prayer gathering into a growing congregation reaching Nairobi and beyond.

A shepherd's heart, four decades in the making

In 2002, Bishop John Kaberere founded Life Mission Christian Church around a small gathering of believers committed to prayer and the Word. What began as a handful of families meeting together has grown, under his leadership, into a vibrant congregation on Okoth Aura Road in Nairobi — with active outreach, mentoring, and community-support programs across the city.

His ministry is marked by a deep passion for discipleship, revival, and the practical empowerment of believers. He has mentored well over a thousand leaders across more than ten countries, equipping them to walk in their calling and become agents of change in their own communities. His teaching returns often to themes of divine favor, spiritual growth, and the transforming power of God's presence.

Beyond the local church, he is a sought-after speaker at conferences across Kenya and internationally, known for teaching on prayer and fasting, the disciplines of spiritual growth, and what it means to truly know God.

"We are family, we are one."
